"There was once a man with a dark face and his beard and, I think, hair was black. He lived in Scotland. The English tried to drive King Robert Bruce out of Scotland, but Douglas didn’t let them. The English were scared of him."
"Once, the English went into the castle and a woman with her child looked down to the ground and saw what she thought was cattle. But it was actually Douglas and his men. And since the woman thought they were cattle, she didn’t mind them. Douglas and his men climbed up into the tower which the English woman was in and attacked the English. Douglas and his men won. They didn’t hurt the woman and her child."
